The Events 2023 Committee was created to organise activities and events in Horncastle to celebrate both the King’s Coronation in May 2023 and the 75th Anniversary of the Horncastle Horse Fair in August 2023.
The powers given to that committee included planning, organising and promoting, agreeing risk assessments and the consideration of advice from the Safety Advisory group for these events and activities only.
The Events 2023 Committee was disbanded by Full Council on 10th October 2023.
