The Town Council commissioned a Governance Health Check Audit to assess how well the organisation was fulfilling its overall purpose, achieving its intended outcomes and ensuring that it operated in an effective, efficient and ethical manner. Following the audit the Council received a comprehensive report of the findings and recommendations designed to strengthen and enhance the role of the Council and assist it to operate to, and within, the highest standard of governance and performance.
