Community Assets

The next Community Assets Committee meeting will take place: Tuesday 13th October 2026.

The Community Assets Committee has delegated responsibility from the Town Council to make decisions on the following areas of Town Council business:

Leases, rents and inspections and any other matter relating to the following Town Council assets:

  • Bowling Green off Hodson Green
  • Site of the Horncastle Football Ground, The Wong
  • Access road land at The Wong
  • Site of Cadet Centre, Coronation Walk
  • Site of Scout building, Coronation Walk
  • Horncastle sports pavilion (Playing Fields Management, Coronation Walk)
  • Site of the Horncastle & District Tennis Club, Coronation Walk
  • Site of the Horncastle Indoor Bowling Club, Coronation Walk
  • Horncastle Cricket Ground, Coronation Walk
  • Electricity sub-station sites, Coronation Walk and Hamerton Gardens
  • The Stanhope Hall (formerly the Town Hall)
