Horncastle has been a Historic Chartered Market town since 1231, and regular markets still take place on a Thursday and Saturday in the market square.
Farmers’ markets take place on 2nd Thursday of each month.
Horncastle have also been taking part in the national Teenage Market initiative, with great success, encouraging the next generation of market traders.
